Holder Construction is seeking a Carpenter for our jobsite located in Prineville, OR.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Constructing safety handrails and protection and constructing the formwork for placement of concrete, assembles column or wall formwork (all types: Gang forms, Stick Build, Slip Forms, etc) set anchor bolts templates, erects temporary handrails & associated safety related items, also does sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling & other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements for this position include:

• 5 years of construction experience and must be able to read basic drawings and have training on construction safety protocols (i.e. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom and scissor).
• Forklift operator training work would be a plus.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs, 75% of the time.
• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.  Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
