About the Role

We are looking for a Lift Director to join our Safety team on our project in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage on-site lifting, hoisting, mobile equipment, and crane/rigging activities for large-scale mission-critical, aviation, and other complex projects by collaborating with project superintendents, project managers, trade partners, and craft performing high-risk lifting activities.
• Implement industry best practices to promote a world-class safety culture focused on preventing serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs).
• Mentor trade partners to ensure robust and effective safety programs and controls for hoisting activities.
• Provide technical expertise to proactively manage crane lifts and associated high-risk activities, ensuring appropriate safety measures are in place.
• Track and analyze safety data to support proactive safety management.
• Monitor daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA, company, and client policies.
• Coordinate on-site training and Holder/client-driven safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:
• 5–10 years of crane and rigging experience.
• NCCCO Lift Director certification or local equivalent.
• Experience in logistics planning and management for large, complex projects.
• Formal safety training and competency in hazardous energy control, LOTO, scaffolding, crane management, steel erection, emergency response, fall management, excavation and confined space, rigging, hazardous waste, and erosion control.
• Ability to identify and correct safety deficiencies in the field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other technology tools supporting safety efforts.

Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field.
• Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, SMS) or relevant crane and rigging certifications demonstrating technical competency.
