About the Role

We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our Safety team on our project in Monrovia, IN. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with executing Holder’s safety strategy and zero-accident culture on assigned projects.
• Monitor daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Implement the project’s safety program and ensure adherence to established standards.
• Teach on-site safety classes, including fall protection, excavation and confined space, scaffolding, electrical safety, OSHA-10, and OSHA-30 hour training.

Qualifications

Required:
• 3–5 years of commercial construction safety experience.
• Formal safety training, including OSHA 500 in construction and competency in scaffolding, crane management, steel erection, emergency response, fall management, excavation and confined space, rigging, hazardous waste, and erosion control.
• Ability to identify and correct safety deficiencies in the field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with a general contractor preferred.

Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field.
• Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHSP).
