About the Role

We are looking for an MEP Superintendent to join our Operations team on our project in Manassas, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position. The MEP Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in managing the coordination, installation, and quality of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all MEP activities from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Holder standards.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to MEP subcontractors and vendors, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, major equipment, lighting, fire alarm, security, building automation systems, CCTV, power distribution, and communication devices.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP systems, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC programs and support the Energy Control and Safety Program to maintain a zero-accident culture.
• Manage punch lists, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive timely resolution of challenges using all available resources.
• Oversee start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring systems meet performance and operational requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and clients while supervising subcontractors and vendors.
• Provide leadership in workforce planning, logistics coordination, and resource allocation for MEP activities.

Qualifications

Required:
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
• Proven ability to manage complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, stadiums, or other special-use facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and commissioning protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and advanced commissioning procedures.
• Knowledge of safety programs and energy control requirements.
