Holder Construction is seeking Safety Associate for multiple projects in Conesville, OH.
The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and working within tight deadlines.
Safety Associate job duties/responsibilities include monitoring daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and company rules/policies. Will need to assist with various facets of the project's safety projects.
Qualifications include formal training in scaffolding competent person, crane management, steel erection, emergency response, fall management, excavation and confined space, rigging, hazardous waste, NFPDS/erosion control, and identifying and correcting safety deficiencies in the field.
A solid background in construction safety, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all craft workers in a construction environment is essential. MUST HAVE OSHA 30 HOUR TRAINING.
Hours may change and you may be asked to work overtime or weekends with short notice. Punctuality and promptness are required every day. Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able overtime and weekend hours.
