Holder Construction Company is currently seeking a Site Safety Coordinator for our project located in Clemson, SC.
The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and working within tight deadlines.
Site Safety Coordinator will monitor daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and company rules/policies and assist with various facets of the project’s safety program.
Qualifications include formal training in scaffolding competent person, crane management, steel erection, emergency response, fall management, excavation and confined space, rigging, hazardous waste, NFPDS/erosion control, and identifying and correcting safety deficiencies in the field.
A solid background in construction safety, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all craft workers in a construction environment is essential.
Hours may change and you may be asked to work overtime or weekends with short notice. Punctuality and promptness are required every day. Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
