Data Modeler

Data Modeler at Holder Construction Company

Holder Construction Company, a recognized leader in the construction industry, has an exciting opportunity available for a Data Modeler with our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Data Modeler at Holder Construction, your primary role will be designing, developing, and maintaining models that facilitate data analysis and decision-making. This role will bridge the gap between efficient data input, transformation, and generation of valuable insights to create or assist others in understanding challenges and build analytic solutions to address those challenges through building visual dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insight into operational results. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, works well in a team, well well-versed in a variety of technologies, and has experience working with both structured and unstructured data.

 

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following:

  • Design Data Models – Work alongside stakeholders of analyzed data, and deeply understand the decisions they need to make to build models that enable these decisions.
  • Determine Appropriate Input – Map and improve existing data collection processes with the goal of optimizing automation where possible.
  • Manage Models – Maintain various processes, including third-party sources to assist with developing and executing implementation plans to store and organize data to produce reports providing key insights into historical cost trends, financial performance, safety, operational efficiency, and project management efficiency.
  • Work directly with Management and the IT Team members to assist others in building visual dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insight into operational trends.

 

Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data/Computer Science, Economics or related field.  3-5 years' work experience performing data analysis, data mining, statistical analysis, etc. in a professional setting. Relevant experience with advanced analytical/problem-solving and data mining. General knowledge of data warehouse structure and general knowledge of diverse technologies.
