Holder Construction Company is seeking experienced MEP Superintendent to join our onsite project teams in Portland, OR.
The MEP Superintendent is responsible for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems construction and coordination needs of our projects. This position will provide oversight to MEP subcontractors and vendors including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, major MEP equipment, lighting, fire alarm, security, building automation system controls, CCTV, power distribution, and communication devices involved in the project. Assist in coordinating schedules, establish and monitor a QC/QA program, maintain and review punch list, make sound decisions and seek solutions to problems using all available resources from pre-construction thru commissioning and close-out.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ yrs commercial construction experience with large sophisticated MEP systems. Candidate should be effective understanding workforce/staffing requirements, project progress, trouble shooting field engineering problems, and start-up and commissioning of building systems. Position requires experience managing the construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, stadiums, and other special use facilities. Strong experience in managing relationships with owners representatives, architects, engineers and clients on a professional level while supervising subcontractors and vendors is a priority.
