Project Engineer
Lead the Way in Commercial Construction
Are you ready to launch your career in construction project management? Start your career with Holder Construction, an ENR Top 30 leader in the construction industry. We’re seeking motivated individuals to join us as Project Engineers on dynamic commercial construction projects across the United States. We have projects in the following cities: Fort Wayne, Dallas, Columbus, Omaha, Washington DC, Phoenix, etc .
What You’ll Do:
As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and managing trade work on-site while ensuring the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with trade partners to coordinate material design, fabrication, delivery, and installation.
- Managing cost and design updates, including RFIs, change orders, and document updates.
- Supporting field supervision with seamless communication and logistics.
- Reading and interpreting construction design documents and specifications.
- Preparing construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
- Gaining hands-on exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM).
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for recent graduates with the skills, drive, and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Sciences, or a related field.
- Internship experience in a commercial construction setting.
- Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
- A willingness to relocate for new projects and career opportunities.
- A collaborative and “team-first” mindset.
