College Recruiting Manager
Holder Construction Company, an Atlanta-based commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, is seeking a highly motivated Recruiting Manager to join our Recruiting team.
As a Recruiting Manager, you will work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment with subject matter experts and other members of the Recruiting Team with a primary focus on attracting the best talent to create diverse, high-performing teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the college recruiting process for new graduates as well as interns.
- Develop, manage, and enhance the overall college recruiting strategy to ensure growth and success of the college recruiting program.
- Build relationships with candidates, recruiting champions, managers, and leadership.
- Lead a team of recruiting coordinators, including workload, development, and feedback.
- Ensure college Recruiting Champions are trained on campus recruiting and interviewing best practices.
- Oversight of Intern Program experience and events.
- Oversight of the intern feedback process, ensuring continual process improvement and effective evaluation methods.
- Work with our staffing and project leaders to understand hiring needs and assign opportunities to interns and new hires.
- Interview and evaluation of candidates to determine hiring decisions and offer.
- Oversee the consistent onboarding of all fulltime and intern college new hires.
- Stay abreast of college recruiting and salary trends.
- Ensure candidate experience is relational, customized, and unmatched by competition.
- Ensure consistency of candidate selectivity and experience.
- Maintain and evaluate metrics on recruited schools, including retention and spending.
Requirements for this position include:
- Four-year college degree in Human Resources or business-related field.
- 5-8 years’ experience in a college recruiting role with a track record of growth.
- Experience with HR and Applicant Tracking platforms.
- Successful candidate will possess outstanding organizational, time management, computer, and technical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects is also desired.
- Professional; engaging, positive attitude.
- Team-oriented mindset, proactive problem solver, highly organized.
- Independent drive, ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and under deadlines.
