Quality Support Coordinator
Holder Construction Company, an Atlanta-based commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Quality department in Atlanta, GA, and travel to projects throughout the US.
Position Description:
- Organize Staff Meetings
- Schedule and coordinate regular staff meetings within the Quality Department; manage agenda and minutes distribution.
- Develop and Organize Quality Department Training
- Collaborate with the Quality team to identify training needs.
- Design, schedule, and coordinate training sessions.
- Maintain training records and track associate certifications.
- Support Staffing Coordination
- Manage Schedules, shifts, and personal assignments.
- Liaise with the Talent Acquisition department and project managers to ensure accurate staffing plans.
- Handle administrative tasks related to hiring, transfers, and terminations.
- Department Event Planning
- Plan and execute department events such as team-building activities, workshops, and celebrations.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist with cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Cross-Departmental Function
- Plan and execute department events such as team-building activities, workshops, and celebrations.
- New Associate Onboarding
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new associates joining the Quality Department.
- Provide necessary paperwork, orientation materials, and introductions to team members.
- Job-Site Visits and Reporting
- Conduct regular check-ins at job sites across the country to assess quality control, safety compliance, quality performance, adherence to procedures, and collect data.
- Document findings and prepare reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Organize Project Quality Program Startup
- Collaborate with project managers to establish quality programs for specific clients.
- Ensure that quality standards are met from the project’s inception.
- Development of Processes and Procedures
- Contribute to the development and improvement of quality-related processes and procedures.
- Document best practices and update manuals as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Structural Engineering, or related subject is required.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Structural Engineering, or related subject is required.
- Travel up to 90%.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Problem solving: strong ability to address challenges and find solutions efficiently.
- Familiarity with office software – Microsoft Office, project management tools, etc.
- Adaptability
