HR Compliance Coordinator

Holder Construction Company, an Atlanta based commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, is seeking a highly motivated HR Compliance Coordinator. This role will be onsite in our Atlanta office. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • I-9 Form program administration including E-Verify verification, file maintenance, and internal training.
  • Coordinate company background check and drug screening process including distribution and status tracking. Work with team on screening results and individualized assessments where applicable.  Ensure ongoing compliance with company and client requirements and policies.
  • Administer the company’s service milestone recognition program, including anniversary tracking, coordination of awards/communications, and best practices for timely and meaningful recognition. 
  • Ongoing PTO program administration (e.g. new hire updates, associate/manager support, annual reporting, etc.)
  • Coordinate national onsite HR compliance postings, ensuring alignment with company, federal, state, and local requirements and policies.
  • Invoice processing and reconciliation for compliance vendors.
  • Additional HR and compliance special projects as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of HR experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field preferred. Construction industry experience a plus.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive company information and associate data.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Prior HRIS experience preferred.
  • Professional and engaging with a positive attitude. Strong Customer Service skills.
  • Proactive problem solver with a team-oriented mindset
  • Critical thinking skills, independent drive, ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work efficiently in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
