BIM Return on Investment
Over the last five years, our return on BIM investment to owners and projects has been significant. Digital collision detection has helped teams see better, in 3D, and think faster. Our metrics from direct, construction, hard cost savings resulting from BIM collision detection show a 3 to 5 times BIM payback- a net savings in project costs due to collisions, rework and change orders avoided. Beyond 'direct', collision detection savings are 'indirect' savings resulting from time saved by owners, design, construction and trade team members --schedules, construction cost escalation, general conditions costs and related administrative costs.
