The project encompasses Construction of a new International Terminal building for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport, including support facilities and interconnection with existing airport facilities: extensive sitework, grading, and retaining wall work to prepare the building pad and aircraft operations areas, constructing an underground connector to existing International Concourse E, tunnel extensions and new station facilities for the Automatic People Mover (APM), reconfiguration of existing baggage claim and customs facilities in existing Concourse E, construction of a precast parking deck facility at the location of the new Terminal, new construction and roadway modifications to existing Aviation Blvd to become Maynard H. Jackson Blvd servicing the new terminal, and the Maynard H. Jackson Jr International Terminal consisting of 10 new International gates, arrival and departure facilities, baggage handling and customs facilities including integration to the existing airport. The project is pursuing LEED Silver Certification. Holder is the managing partner of this joint venture project which also includes Manhattan Construction, Moody Construction, and Hunt Construction.
