The Hartsfield International Parking Deck is the Long Term parking facility for the Maynard Holbrook Jackson Jr. International Terminal. The Parking Deck will have a 2,500 car capacity. The five level precast concrete structure will include: energy efficient LED lighting, covered shuttle bus pick-up area, emergency generator electrical backup system, extensive blue light emergency phones systems, and full coverage video monitoring security systems. Full feature Parking Revenue Control System includes license plate recognition, pay-on-foot stations, available parking space monitors on each floor. The project also includes a 3,500 sf office structure with offices, break room, conference room, revenue offices and bathrooms.
Prior to breaking ground, extensive planning and preconstruction support included site analysis, structural options analysis, alternative use options analysis (lot vs. deck), and foundation options analysis. The project is currently tracking 35% EBO participation.
