We strive to work with the other members of the project team to strike that delicate balance of project cost versus environmental impact.

LEED Accredited Professionals
LEED Accredited Professionals are experienced building industry practitioners who have demonstrated their knowledge of integrated design and their capacity to facilitate the LEED certification process. The accreditation program recognizes expertise in green building and LEED to help meet the growing demand from the public and private sectors for green buildings.
Holder is one of the leading contractors in the country with over 50 LEED Accredited Professionals. Currently, about 20% of our associates are LEED Accredited!

The Contractor's Role in Sustainability: A Panel Discussion "What is the contractor's role in sustainability or green construction?" This presentation from the March 10, 2004 Industry Liaison Committee meeting at the AGC National Convention gives some insight into this question. In addition, John Mark Wood of Holder and the other panelists focused on how the contractor's role is affected by USGBC LEED certification.
